Today I'm bringing you another quick and easy breakfast recipe, perfect for those busy weekdays! I don't know if you have this same problem, but my youngest son is SO hard to get up in the morning. I just about have to pull him out of bed by his feet! Darn teenager, haha! Since he always seems to be running just a bit behind, there really is no time to sit down and eat breakfast. It's always grab something to go, he's got to eat in the car. These delicious breakfast bars are perfect for days like that. (Even if it is EVERY day!)

Rice Krispies have always been one of my favorite cereals, and it just happens to be one of my kids favorites, too. Whether I eat them plain or with banana slices, have them in the morning or as a bedtime snack, it seems I eat them quite often. So I decided to take my beloved Rice Krispies and turn them into a breakfast bar, making a heartier and more filling meal, and much easier to eat on the go.

I know technically it's still summer, but the weather here in Michigan this week has been very Fall-like. Fall is definitely my favorite season - cooler temps, warm sweaters, football, the changing colors, and of course Fall baking! There is nothing quite like the aroma of cinnamon, pumpkin and nutmeg wafting throughout my house.

Every year I can hardly wait until the weather cools off just enough to start my Fall baking. And I love trying out new seasonal products that come out each year too. I'm sure you can imagine just how excited I was when I discovered that M&M's® came out with a new Pecan Pie flavor for Fall. Pecan pie, people. PECAN PIE! So of course I bought myself a bag (okay, I bought two!), and jumped into the kitchen to create something new and delicious.

School has officially started here which means it's time to go, go, go! My youngest is playing varsity football so after a full day of school he immediately has a couple hours of practice, then comes home starving. Sound familiar? I try to prepare meals ahead of time as much as I can, and I especially look for meals that are quick and easy to make. These Effortless Chicken and Veggie Ranch Wraps are one of our family favorites, and I have the Effortless Meals available at Walmart to thank for that!

The deli at Walmart offers Effortless Meals solutions including Marketside rotisserie chickens and Marketside pizzas. These are perfect for busy families on the go! I love using rotisserie chicken for so many things, but it's especially perfect in these wraps. I also like to pair my wraps with the Walmart deli macaroni salad - it tastes just like homemade! It's great because the Rotisserie Chicken meal includes a side as well as 2 liter Coca Cola product, so I had everything I needed for dinner!

Kick your grilling game up a notch by adding spicy Mexican flavors and making these delicious fiesta burgers
for your next BBQ!

I love a good juicy burger, especially one cooked on the grill. I've mentioned it like a thousand times before (sorry!), but I LOVE the new grill that my kids surprised me with for Mother's Day. I've definitely become the grill master this summer and the kids are reaping all the benefits of their purchase. Burgers, brats, dogs, chicken, corn and other veggies, I've been grilling it all.

Recently I wanted to change things up and instead of making a traditional burger, add some spice and make it Mexican style. I call it my Spicy Fiesta Burger! I whipped up an easy chipotle mayo, melted spicy pepperjack cheese on top of the burgers, and also added sliced pickled jalapenos on top. It turned out to be one SPICY burger! I loved it though, and so did my kids! It was an awesome twist on our usual burger.

We've been watching a lot of basketball lately, as I'm sure many have. Sometimes we have friends and family over to watch the games, but most of the time we just watch as a family. I whipped up some easy and delicious Beef & Bean Burritos the other day and they were perfect for the big game. I spiced my beef up with a can of Ro*Tel and the burritos were delicious! I used the mild variety because my youngest doesn't like really spicy foods, but you can substitute with the Original or Hot if you like some heat!

I don't know about you, but we are HUGE sports fans. My whole entire family. Not only do we love to watch sports on TV, but both of my sons have played sports too. My oldest is in college now so he just plays on recreational leagues, but my youngest is in high school and plays on the football and basketball teams. I have always loved to watch them both play!

I'm sure you've heard of the big basketball tournament coming up this month, and in my house we all get pretty into it. We make brackets and try to beat each other, and we watch as many games as we can. We usually have at least one get together with friends and family as well.

Spring has finally sprung! Well, technically the first day of spring is this coming Friday, but there are some definite changes in the weather here in Michigan. We've had sun every day for over a week now, and one day it even hit 60 degrees! That warm weather didn't stay for too long, but I'll take the gorgeous sun and blue skies any day.

Since we had such a beautiful weekend, I decided to put together a Sundae Bar for the family. I'll eat ice cream anytime of the year, but it's best on a nice warm day. Don't you agree? I'd been hearing all sorts of good things about the new EDY's® Frozen Custard, so I stopped at my local Walmart to pick some up, along with a bunch of our favorite toppings.
