I've been visiting my local farmers market quite regularly lately and am loving all the beautiful produce coming in. From bright green asparagus to colorful zucchini and of course, gorgeous fruit, it's like paradise to me. I literally could spend hours walking through and looking at every single thing. Just ask my kids, they'll tell you exactly how long I'm there.

One of my absolute favorite things right now is fresh berries. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, I love them all. And luckily, so do my kids! Whether I'm making a fruit salad or baking them into a scrumptious dessert, I'm always happy to have berries around.

Panna cotta is a classic Italian dessert made of sweetened cream that's been thickened by gelatin. You can infuse the cream with spices, or even with vanilla or coffee. I first tried panna cotta at a local Italian restaurant several years ago and quickly fell in love. It's creamy texture and delicate taste is the perfect dessert for just about any meal.

This week's #SundaySupper event is all about Family Style Italian Recipes. As soon as I heard this was our theme, I just knew I had to share my recipe for panna cotta. It's simple, can be made ahead of time, and has a gorgeous presentation. It's just the right dessert to serve your family after Sunday Supper, or at your next party!

Simple Berry Salad

Sometimes the simplest things are the most delicious. Like fresh fruit and vegetables. They don't need much to taste good.

These gorgeous strawberries and blackberries are the perfect example. Tossed with a little honey and lime juice and garnished with fresh mint, they are a versatile dish. I love to eat them as a side dish, put them over my morning yogurt, and even over vanilla ice cream. They would be the perfect topping for homemade waffles or pancakes, too.
