I'm a huge fan of dessert. That's pretty obvious though, huh? The kids and I have dessert after dinner just about every night. Even if it's just a piece of chocolate, it's something.

I bake quite a bit (another obvious statement), so we usually have something in the house at all times. Could be cookies, lots of time it's brownies, or maybe even a cake. But there are plenty of times when it's nice to have a quick dessert. Something easy to put together that doesn't require baking. Something that can be thrown together when someone unexpectedly shows up on your doorstep for a visit. These parfaits are the answer.

Strawberry Yogurt Cupcakes with Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting

These strawberry yogurt cupcakes are tender, moist, and delicious. Topped with a decadent strawberry cream cheese frosting, it's hard to eat just one!

As much as I love all things chocolate, sometimes it's nice to make a different type of dessert. Something with vanilla, maybe something nutty, or even a fruity dessert. I tend to make a lot of brownies and cakes, so it's good to break away from the usual.

That's where these delicious Strawberry Yogurt Cupcakes with Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting come in. A little bit decadent and naughty, but also somewhat healthy and nice. It's a two-for-one kinda deal.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Loaded with fruit, yogurt, and oats, this delicious breakfast smoothie will boost your energy and keep you full until lunchtime!

My family loves smoothies. They are by far one of my favorite go-to after school snacks to make. Packed with flavor and nutrition, smoothies are a healthier choice than some of the other options out there.

I love trying different fruit combinations, but my youngest son pretty much sticks to the strawberry banana variety. He's not the adventurous type. My older son and I both love all sorts of fruits in our smoothies, from mangoes to blueberries to raspberries, there isn't one we don't love.

Vanilla Crepes with Chocolate Hazelnut Spread & Bananas

These light and delicate crepes are filled with creamy chocolate hazelnut spread and banana slices and come together quickly for a delicious weekend breakfast!

For years I was so intimidated to make crepes. Just looking at them I thought to myself, "Sarah, there is no way you can do that." I just knew I'd mess them up!

Fast forward about 15 years, I bought myself a cute and inexpensive crepe pan and thought what the heck, might as well give it a try. And guess what? I didn't mess them up. Well, maybe the first few from a batch, but that's normal. The pan has to be just the right temp, and you need just the perfect amount of butter on the pan. So usually the first two might break, or be a little light in color, but they still taste good.

Mini Banana Bread Squares

These light and fluffy little banana bread squares are great for breakfast, to pack in a lunchbox, or as a snack anytime of the day!

I think I have a problem with bananas. I buy a bunch each shopping trip just so I can let them sit on the counter all week and start to turn brown. You know, because brown bananas mean I can make stuff. Lots of good stuff.

I've made many versions of banana bread, from oatmeal banana bread to caramelized banana bread to whole wheat strawberry banana bread, I haven't met one that I didn't like. And my kids are the same way. They love it when mom makes banana bread. And the smell in the house while it's baking? It's like no other!
